SVQ and Modern Apprenticeships in Business Administration and Information Technology
The SVQ’s in Business Administration and Information Technology are very flexible and are designed for both young people and mature students. After selecting the SVQ and the appropriate modules a training plan will be designed to meet the needs of the trainee and the company. The SVQ can normally take place within the company and does not require the trainee to attend college. The training can be assessed and verified by EDETA staff.
The duration of the training is dependent on the number of modules chosen and the abilities of the trainee.
Funding for VQ training may be available from Government Schemes providing the training meets the appropriate criteria.
Young people under the age of 18 are entitled to time off during working hours to study. As SVQs are work based and are recognised as suitable qualifications it makes this training a good option to College based training by allowing students to achieve qualifications whilst still working.
