  • Review of ‘Six Pack’ particularly the management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations and up-dated regulatory requirements.
  • Discussion and presentation of the various elements of the risk assessment process

Course Objectives

This elementary one day course is certified and approved by The Royal Environmental Health Institute for Scotland (REHIS). It is designed to give employees an appreciation of the requirements and responsibilities of Health & Safety in the workplace.

Intended For

Employees with an interest and some responsibility for Health & Safety in the workplace.

The certificate is awarded by REHIS on successfully passing the examination at the end of the course.

The Working Safely certificate is awarded by IOSH on successful completion of the Institute’s assessment procedure.

Course Objectives

The course developed by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is designed to ensure that safety requirements are appreciated by people employed as line managers, enabling them to review their own systems for safety and implement changes as appropriate.
