Course Objectives
To train person in the use of a PAT tester to enable them to carry out the necessary tests on all electrical equipment.
Intended For
Persons nominated to carry out the regular PAT testing within the workplace
No technical knowledge or background is required.
Course Content
- General introduction to electrical safety including the Electricity At Work Regulations 1989
- The reasons for PAT testing with regards to the necessity for regular maintenance and repair
- Practical sessions with the use of PAT testing equipment
